Privacy Policy

The following applies when you use our mobile apps.

Advertising identifiers

We use advertising identifiers such as IDFA/AAID for ad delivery and measurement through AdMob (Google LLC).

Consent (UMP)

For users accessing from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, Switzerland, Brazil, and other applicable regions, we display a consent dialog based on Google UMP.

ATT (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, we request system permission before using the advertising identifier, in accordance with App Tracking Transparency (ATT).

In-app purchases

For applicable apps only, payment information is processed through the Apple/Google platforms. We do not directly store credit card details or similar information.

World rankings

In games with a ranking feature, your reached score and display name (nickname) are sent to our servers and shown publicly on the world ranking, where they are visible to other users. Display names are preset word combinations and contain no personally identifying information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to the extent necessary to maintain site functionality and improve usability.

Access logs

We may record IP addresses, referrers, User-Agent strings, visit timestamps, and similar data as statistical information.

Inquiries

To respond to inquiries, contact you, and maintain handling records, we record the submitted information, together with the receipt date and receipt number, in an internal chat system on servers we operate ourselves. The submission system itself does not store it.

Retention of inquiry information

We retain inquiry information until our staff manually delete it. We do not automatically delete it after a fixed period. To request deletion or discuss your information, please use the contact details at the end of this Policy.

Inquiry processing logs

We retain logs of processing outcomes, error categories, and similar operational information for up to 30 days to troubleshoot issues and prevent abusive submissions. These logs do not contain inquiry messages, names, email addresses or other contact details, or verification tokens.

Submission verification

We use an external verification service to prevent automated submissions and abuse. It processes connection and browser information needed for verification. See section 6 for the service we use.

This section applies to the Fushigidamari information and sharing site (share.fushigidamari.app). We manage non-advertising analytics according to the country or region of your connection. Where prior consent is required, we do not load the analytics service or send analytics data until you allow it. In other countries or regions we can identify, analytics runs unless you have disabled it. Measurement without consent relies on grounds permitted by applicable law, such as our legitimate interest in improving the site. If we cannot determine the region, we do not measure, even with a saved allow choice. We determine the region from connection information provided by our delivery platform, Cloudflare, not from your nationality or display language. This choice is managed separately from the settings in our mobile apps.

Purpose and choice

We analyze visits, traffic sources, visits to app stores, and return-visit trends in aggregate to improve the site’s content and usability. In every region, you can stop or restart analytics via “Analytics settings” in the footer, and rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the site. Where notice is required at collection, we display information about collection and how to stop it before measurement begins. Closing that information notice is not recorded as prior consent.

Information processed

We process page types and visit times, display language, traffic sources, link clicks, device/browser information, and cookie identifiers. Connections to the analytics service include your IP address, used for purposes such as estimating an approximate location. We do not send names, email addresses, game display names, or scores as analytics measurement fields.

Cookie duration

Analytics cookies are used when analytics is enabled. Their maximum lifetime is 180 days and is not extended on each visit. Your browser settings may cause them to be deleted earlier.

Remembering your choice

Your allow/disable choice is saved in local storage dedicated to this site as a preference valid for 180 days. After it expires, we ask you to choose again in regions requiring prior permission. Other identified regions return to measurement with notice and an optional stop control, unless your browser signals that tracking should be blocked. This record is used to respect your choice, not for advertising or tracking. You can delete it through your browser settings.

Data retention and use

Data about individual interactions is retained for 2 months, and user-level data for 14 months. The latter period resets with new activity. Aggregated statistics may remain longer. We do not use analytics data to personalize advertising or match users with information from our apps or other services.

Processing by external services

We use the external analytics service listed in section 6. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Please follow the links in that section for the provider’s information handling and international transfer arrangements.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can stop or restart analytics at any time via “Analytics settings” in the footer. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops new measurement and clears this site’s analytics cookies. Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) take priority: we do not measure while either is active, even if you previously allowed analytics. An allow choice also cannot override an unknown region. Stopping analytics does not retract information already sent or cancel transmissions already queued inside Google’s systems. Analytics without prior consent relies on a basis permitted by applicable law, such as our legitimate interest in improving the website. You can disable or enable analytics at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer, regardless of your region. If we cannot determine your region, we do not load the analytics service or send analytics data, regardless of your saved choice. We determine the connection region from our hosting infrastructure, not from your nationality or display language.

Information processed

We process visited page URLs, titles and visit times, referring sites, display language, device/browser/screen information, cookie identifiers, and predefined types of actions. Measurement fields exclude URL query strings and fragments, and the path and subsequent components of external referring URLs. We do not send names, email addresses, inquiry messages, receipt numbers, or other form contents or individual inquiry information. Connections to the analytics service include your IP address, used for purposes such as estimating an approximate location.

If your region cannot be determined, analytics stays off even if you choose to allow it. We also respect browser requests not to be tracked and do not run analytics while such a setting is active.

Your allow/stop setting is saved in this browser’s local storage as a setting valid for 180 days. After it expires, visitors in regions where we request prior permission are asked to choose again. You can change the setting at any time or delete it through your browser’s stored-data settings. Set it separately in each browser or device.
